There are a maximum of 12 places available on this course
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course students should be able to:
- Describe the risks and benefits of endodontic treatment
- Describe the use of modern imaging techniques in endodontics
- Describe the stages in a range of endodontic treatments
- Provide oral health advice to patients undergoing endodontic treatment
- Prepare the clinical environment prior to a patient visit
- Competently assist during endodontic procedures
- Recognise and use instruments, equipment and materials in the provision of endodontic treatment
Training dates
Training Sessions will be held on 12th and 13th December 2024
Students will then be expected to complete a portfolio demonstrating competence over 10 Endodontic cases. It is expected the portfolio will be completed within 3 months.

Time to complete a portfolio of experience
A supportive employer and supervising dentist who can act as a witness for you
Access to patients requiring endodontic treatment
Access to a PC, the internet and Microsoft Word.
Before enrolling onto the course, you must ensure you will have access to:
- 10 patients requiring various stages of endodontic treatment
