Our GDC approved training programme equips registered Dental Nurses with the skills and knowledge to qualify as an Orthodontic Therapist upon completion.
To be eligible to join, you must be a Dental Nurse registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) with 2 years’ experience in clinical orthodontics. Applicants must also meet the full eligibility criteria set out in the candidate specification.
Two payment options are available:
- Payment in full
- Payment on a 2 stage payment plan
If your application is successful, we will be in touch to confirm your preferred option. Course places are confirmed once course deposit has been received following a successful interview and confirmation letter.
The course is provided by King’s Health Partners, and delivered by staff of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH), Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT) and King’s College London (KCL).

How to apply
The KHP Orthodontic Therapy team will run a rolling recruitment process for the June 2020 entries. All applications will be reviewed on arrival and applicants will be notified within 4 weeks of the application submission to confirm if they have been shortlisted.
To check the status of applications, please contact the centre after the 4 week submission date has passed.
The KHP interview schedule will be released following shortlisting.
